How long has Phi Kap been a part of Clarkson Greek Life?
We were originally founded in 1981 Throughout the 1980s Phi Kappa Sigma had three chapters in the area: Beta Upsilon – SUNY Potsdam Beta Iota – Saint Lawrence University Beta Chi – Clarkson University These three chapters formed the largest triad in the country Through the 1990s Beta Chi and Beta Iota shrunk in size due to policy changes and eventually disbanded.
10
Were Back! In 2006, after an eight year absence Beta Chi returned to Clarkson. We are a growing chapter of thirty active members with lots of room for individual and group improvement. We will be celebrating in April, 8 successful years since our re-chartering! We are a group small enough to be a true brotherhood, but we are large enough to accomplish any task.
