We are learning!
In reading, we’ve been doing an author study on Jan Brett. We read of variety of Jan’s books! It’s been interesting to compare and contrast them.
We studied the letter Ii at the beginning, middle and ending of words. We also learned the sight words: he, for, yes, she, we & me.
In math, we compared objects using a balance scale.
Miss Rikki came in and taught a lesson. She gave us some exciting news!
Thanks to our 3rd graders for coming in and reading to us. We loved having the big kids join us!
THANK YOU to those that sent graham crackers to school for our snack. If you haven’t sent any, we could still use more.
Our GREATNESS jar is almost full of warm fuzzies. Please ask your child about this. You’ll be proud & impressed! I know I certainly am.

Other News
You can come and skate with (or watch) your child any day from 1:50-2:15 during the 2 weeks that we have the roller skates in gym. You can borrow skates at school
Towels have been washed at school again. If you would rather wash your child’s at home, please let me know.
