2. Being safe on a bike . Always wear a helmet
. Use hand signals for going round a bend pulling over or turning of at a junction
. Wear high vision clothing if your out at night.
. Watch for cars
. don’t wear headphones or earphones.

3. Walking safety What to do: Look both ways Listen think then act
Make sure people can see you at night
Walk on the pavement
Don’t run across the road
What not to do:
Walk between two cars
Not look when cross
Run across the road
If a ball goes onto the road don’t run after it
Be silly on the road

4. What do you think?
Do you think there should be such things as traffic lights? If so why not?
Do we need a lollipop lady?
What do you think we’d do if we didn’t have these things ? Would we get a replacement?
