6. Purpose Mice Diet

7. HDL levels higher in males than females HDL levels in SM x NZB population were similar to those of SM mice. HDL levels in NZB x SM higher than in SM x NZB

8. Female NZB x SM mice showed HDL levels intermediate between the parental strains. Male NZB x SM mice had HDL levels similar to NZB mice. The F2 population had high levels of HDL after consuming an atherogenic diet.
