4 Requirements This incentive is for you if you are thinking of using mail to advertise for the first time, or have not used advertising mail in the last 2 years. You can send up to three first time user advertising campaigns during a 12 month period. Each of your three first time user campaigns need to be a minimum of 10,000 items A FTU advertising campaign means a single advertising campaign that is an individual or series of advertising messages that share a single idea, offer or promotion with a start and end posting date of no more than 2 months apart. By way of example a FTU advertising campaign could consist of a teaser posting, product launch and reminder posting.

5 Postage Credits 2019 We will calculate the amount of Postage Credits to be awarded to you by applying the relevant Postage Credit Rate to the volume of items posted by you in each first time user campaign Incentive Postage Credit Rate First time user incentive 15% Visit royalmailwholesale.com/first-time-user for a list of eligible services and the postage credit rates expressed in pence

Speak to your account manager or mail provider to discuss which incentive is best for you Look at the requirements of the incentives on royalmailwholesale.com Apply On the incentive page on royalmailwholesale.com click on the link ‘apply online’ Complete the application form online and submit Post You will be contacted by the group incentive team to discuss your application Your application will be confirmed and you can then start posting under the incentive Please complete an application form using the link at royalmail.com/first-time-user-application-form

7 Receiving postage credits
Notification At the end of your incentive complete and submit your postage credit application form on the incentive page at royalmailwholesale.com Receive You can choose to receive your credit as a voucher or have it paid into any Royal Mail postage account you hold. Credit vouchers are valid for 12 months Redeem Redeem credits against any future posting. Simply complete the redemption form and send this to your mail provider

8 What happens when an agent applies on my behalf?
FAQs How do I apply? Please complete the online application form to apply. Royal Mail will check the form and contact you if there are any questions. Apply here royalmail.com/first-time-user-application-form Can I send manual mail items and qualify for postage credits under the scheme? You do not need to use Mailmark for Advertising Mail TIS test mailings that are Large Letter format or non-machine readable Letter format (e.g. Poly-wrapped C5 letters). What happens when an agent applies on my behalf? You and the agent will receive an acknowledgement once the application form is submitted. Royal Mail will check the form and contact the agent if there are any questions. Once checks are complete Royal Mail sends the application form to you to confirm you have read and understood the terms and conditions.

9 How long will my postage credit vouchers be valid for?
FAQs What will happen if any of my FTU campaigns contain less than 10,000 items? You will not receive any postage credits for that campaign if your actual FTU volume is less than 10,000 mailing items. I am looking to change mail provider in the next 12 months, will I be able to continue earning credits with my new provider? Yes, eligible items can be sent using any participating mail provider. I’m looking to change mail provider next year, will I be able to use credits earned with my current provider with my new provider? Yes, the postage credit vouchers can be redeemed with any participating mail provider. How long will my postage credit vouchers be valid for? Postage credit vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of issue.
