3. Conference Aims Celebrate the academic achievements of
IOT/TU STEM graduates.
Opportunity to publish your undergraduate research in an expertly reviewed, open access, online undergraduate multi-disciplinarian scientific journal.

4. Conference Aims
Provide a multi-disciplinary scientific forum through which undergraduate research outputs can be disseminated to students, researchers, academic professionals and industry.
Provide new final year students with an opportunity to understand the range of research topics available and what can be achieved In an undergraduate project.
Outline the career opportunities that exist for graduates in scientific disciplines.

Oral and poster presentations: current final year undergraduate students (2018/19)
Keynote oral presentations: successful graduates in industry and academia
Career workshops: Research & Industry for all participants (audience and presenters)

6. How Do I enter? Step 1: Complete your Research
Step 2: Write your abstract and answer two questions
Step 3: Submit your abstract and answers online by 15th May 2019
Abstracts for consideration for poster and oral presentations to be submitted centrally to the National Programme Committee.
Information will be provided on the SURE Network website
Resources to assist with preparation of oral and poster presentations will be available on the conference website

7. Dates For your diary! Abstract submission
Call for abstracts on 22nd March 2019
Submission by 15th May for final year projects completed by May 2019
Extended submission to June for later finishing projects by arrangement with the Programme Committee
Option for oral presentation and/or poster presentation
Notification of acceptance and feedback
Mid June 2019
Preparation workshop will be provided for all successful for oral presenters
Early September 2019

8. Awards & Certificates
All presenters (poster and oral) will be included in the official conference proceedings, and a link will be provided for student CVs
All presenters will receive a digital badge
A prize for Best Science Communicator and Best Poster will be awarded at each conference venue
Oral presenters will be invited to consider authoring a paper a SURE undergraduate research Journal.
