Frontal Lobe Injury In 1848 Phineas Gage, a railway construction foreman, was struck be a rod in his face The 3-foot long rod entered through his face, passed through his brain, and exited his skull. Gage survived the accident but what do you think happened to him? He suffered lasting personality and behavioral problem, some memory loss. Frontal Lobe controls: Speech Reasoning Voluntary movement
