BioSig-ID Central Texas College has contracted with Biometric Signature ID to deploy BioSig-ID to positively verify student identity at various times throughout a course.

BioSig-ID This satisfies an accrediting agency requirement of verifying that the student who registered for the course is the person who is submitting coursework.

BioSig-ID From the BioMetric Signature ID website at BioSig-ID™ works on any device with your finger, stylus, or mouse. User's draw a unique 4-character biometric password and this creates a template pattern to which all subsequent log ins are compared.

BioSig-ID Imposters are blocked since they can't reproduce your pattern. BioSig-ID™ can replace your current security (i.e. Windows Log in) or be used as an additional layer.

BioSig-ID Instructors are required to use BioSig-ID in blended and online courses to validate student identity. Instructions are provided at the Faculty Resources Quick Link at the DEET webpage at

BioSig-ID BioSig-ID can be used with any course component that supports adaptive release. Exams Quizzes Assignments

BioSig-ID BioSig-ID cannot be used with Discussion boards

student attempts at entering their passwords. IP addresses, which change with different devices or networks.

BioSig-ID BioSig-ID must be set up properly to retrieve any usable information. Follow the step-by-step instructions. Enter the Student Preview mode to make sure the item is hidden.
