2. Introduction to Orientation
Welcome! If you are reading this, then you have been contacted by and provided a link to the
Board Orientation Main Page.
Each new Board Member is expected to complete the five parts of the online orientation prior to arrival at the USPC Equine Symposium & Convention, where there will be a face to face orientation.
From the Board Orientation Main Page you will be able to launch the five parts of the online orientation and a number of links that will direct you to a document, another page on the USPC web site or to another site. You may want to download some of these documents, such as the By-Laws, as you will be expected to be intimately familiar with them.
In addition to the online orientation module, prior to attending the first Board meeting,
held in conjunction with the USPC Equine Symposium & Convention, each Board Member must:
Submit for a background check
Pay the Annual Corporate Membership due, unless a Life Member of USPC
Completion of Training Modules, including Member/Volunteer Protection, Concussion, and Heat Illness
