Prevalence of Frailty According to Various Scales The overall prevalence of frailty varied depending on the scale used, and was generally 2-fold higher in TAVR (orange bars) compared with SAVR (blue bars) patients. Frailty scales were dichotomized based on original cutoffs: Fried ≥3 of 5, Fried+ ≥3 of 7, Rockwood Clinical Frailty Scale ≥5 of 9, SPPB ≤8 of 12, Bern ≥3 of 7, Columbia ≥6 of 12, and EFT ≥3 of 5.
