4. Tackling the MWDS Get the pre-reading stuff out of the way NOW
Highlight characters as you go
Transfer them to the MWDS, including some characteristics
Write down plot points as you go
As soon as you have insights on Bigger and his relationship with other characters, note that!
You’ll have to save closing scene, motifs/symbols, and thematic statements for the end of the novel
Saving EVERYTHING for the MWDS for when you finish the novel will STRESS YOU OUT
