4. Econ / Market Summary Black Friday/Cyber Monday Review
Black Friday retailers were left rather disappointed this year, as there was no significant change in shopping ($12.8B in sales)
Cyber Monday however, took off. Even mobile transactions jumped 33% from last year.
In total, more Americans shopped online (109MM) than in stores (99MM).
Two Prime Ministers resigned yesterday (Italy’s Renzi and New Zealand).
GDP blew decently past expectations last year. Annualized growth of 3.2%, 2.9% estimate.
OPEC made a deal (crude now at $51.31/barrel)
Saudi Arabia and Iraq are cutting the most in production
