Meet with college and career recruiters, find out about scholarship opportunities from colleges, and more. Buy your BISD Hope Strong t-shirts for $15. Order forms are in the front office. How DO I achieve my Goals?
Remember- Goals are personal results that a person hopes to achieve in the future. Not every wish can be a goal.

How DO I achieve my Goals?
To help identify goals and form a plan, ask yourself, “Is it… Specific- What do I want to accomplish? Measurable- Can I chart my progress? How will I know when I have reached my goal? Achievable- How will it get done? Can you finish in the time given? Realistic- Is it worthwhile? Why is this goal significant to me? Timely- When do you want to be finished?

Let’s practice The easiest way to accomplish a goal up is to break it up into smaller parts and set time limits. Let’s say your short-term goal is to get your driver’s license by Spring Break. Some steps could be: Be at least 15 years old. Complete the application and provide proof of identity. Complete the written exam. Pay the $16 learner’s permit fee

Let’s practice Let’s say your long-term goal is to get accepted and attend Texas A&M University. Some steps could be: Practice and take the SAT exam. Gather letters of recommendations. Complete the application process and pay the $75 application fee. Pack your bags.

Writing Activity Now using the six goals that you wrote down last class, create steps and time limits to accomplish those goals.
