4. Phase 2-
Teach the children 1 new sound a week
Practice daily in literacy and in a discrete phonics lesson
Re-enforce through all writing activities
Read with the children

5. What can you do? Hear your child read every night.
Practice letters and sounds of the week with the children
Encourage name and letter writing
