2. What does this mean?
Christ has forgiven us for past, present and future sin if you have become a Christian.
Sin can only kill us once. We have already died in Christ.

3. Position is secure, now lets look at Practice
Practice can change
Eg. I am my parents child. Nothing change that.
But I can be in good relationship with them or a poor relationship with them.
Practice is about what we bring to the relationship.

Duty or gratitude?
If a Christian fails to conform to the pattern of the Bible, it is not because he lacks rules: it is because he lacks love.
In the same way, we must understand that the highest motive in the world and in heave for obedience is love resulting from gratitude.
