2 The Faithful servant 1 Thes. 1:9 For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God; 10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.

3 The Faithful servant I. A Faithful Servant is Ready (12:35-36).
1 Pet. 1:13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; Eph 6:14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

4 The Faithful servant I. A Faithful Servant is Ready (12:35-36).
1 Thes. 5:5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.  Mat 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.  Php 2:15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; 

5 The Faithful servant I. A Faithful Servant is Ready (12:35-36).
II. A Faithful Servant is Rewarded (12:37). Rev 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.  Hag 2:3 Who is left among you that saw this house in her first glory? and how do ye see it now? is it not in your eyes in comparison of it as nothing?

6 The Faithful servant I. A Faithful Servant is Ready (12:35-36).
II. A Faithful Servant is Rewarded (12:37). III. A Faithful Servant is Reliable (12:38). 1 Thes 2:4 But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts.  1 Tim. 6:20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:

7 The Faithful servant I. A Faithful Servant is Ready (12:35-36).
II. A Faithful Servant is Rewarded (12:37). III. A Faithful Servant is Reliable (12:38). IV. A Faithful Servant is Responsible (12:39-40).
