2. PROPHECY # BC
1. Jacob’s descendants would return to Israel
Amos 9: "Also I will restore the captivity of My people Israel, and they will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them; They will also plant vineyards and drink their wine, and make gardens and eat their fruit. I will also plant them on their land, and they will not again be rooted out from their land which I have given them,” says the Lord your God.
Amos was a shepherd and a arborist, tending sycamore figs
Timing: reigns of Uzziah (Judah) and Jeroboam II (Israel)
Time of prosperity (Amos 6:1-6), but with corruption (Amos 8:5), injustice toward the poor (Amos 2:6, 8; Amos 4:1), drunkenness (Amos 4:1; Amos 6:6), and religious apostasy

3. PROPHECY #2 593 BC -- 1948 Israel would be brought back to life
Ezekiel 37:10-14
Isaiah 35:1-3 The wilderness and the desert will be glad, and the Arabah will rejoice and blossom; like the crocus. It will blossom profusely and rejoice with rejoicing and shout of joy. The glory of Lebanon will be given to it, the majesty of Carmel and Sharon. They will see the glory of the Lord, the majesty of our God. Encourage the exhausted, and strengthen the feeble.

4. PROPHECY #3 701 BC -- 1948 Israel will be reborn in one day
Isaiah 66:7-8 "Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she gave birth to a boy. Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Can a land be born in one day? Can a nation be brought forth all at once?
On May 14, 1948, the Jews declared independence for Israel for the first time in years
That day, the US acknowledged Israel’s sovereignty

5. PROPHECY # BC
Israel would be reestablished as one nation and not a divided one
Hosea 1:11 And the sons of Judah and the sons of Israel will be gathered together, and they will appoint for themselves one leader, and they will go up from the land, for great will be the day of Jezreel.
Ezekiel 37:21-22 "Say to them, 'Thus says the Lord God, "Behold, I will take the sons of Israel from among the nations where they have gone, and I will gather them from every side and bring them into their own land;and I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel; and one king will be king for all of them; and they will no longer be two nations and no longer be divided into two kingdoms.

6. PROPHECY # BC
The return from the exodus under Moses will pale
in comparison to the last return
Jeremiah 16: "Therefore behold, days are
coming," declares the Lord, "when it will no longer
said, 'As the Lord lives, who brought up the sons of
Israel out of the land of Egypt,’ but, 'As the Lord
lives, who brought up the sons of Israel from the
land of the north and from all the countries where
He had banished them.' For I will restore them to
their own land which I gave to their fathers.”
Isaiah 49:6 He says, "It is too small a thing that
You should be My Servant to raise up the tribes of
Jacob and to restore the preserved ones of Israel;
I will also make You a light of the nations so that
My salvation may reach to the end of the earth."

7. PROPHECY #6: 571 BC
Ezekiel predicted the date of re-establishment
Ezekiel 4:4-6 "As for you, lie down on your left side and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel on it; you shall bear their iniquity for the number of days that you lie on it. For I have assigned you a number of days corresponding to the years of their iniquity, three hundred and ninety days; thus you shall bear the iniquity of the house of Israel. When you have completed these, you shall lie down a second time, but on your right side and bear the iniquity of the house of Judah; I have assigned it to you for forty days, a day for each year.”
Leviticus 26:18 'If also after these things you do not obey Me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.’

8. PROPHECY #7 571 BC -- 1948 They would have “their own” land”
Ezekiel 34:13 "I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries and bring them to their own land; and I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the streams, and in all the inhabited places of the land.”
Isaiah 14:1 When the Lord will have compassion on Jacob and again choose Israel, and settle them in their own land, then strangers will join them and attach themselves to the house of Jacob.
Jeremiah 16:15 … but, 'As the Lord lives, who brought up the sons of Israel from the land of the north and from all the countries where He had banished them.' For I will restore them to their own land which I gave to their fathers.

9. PROPHECY #8 600 BC -- 1948 God would watch over Israel
Jeremiah 31:10 Hear the word of the Lord, O nations, and declare in the coastlands afar off, and say, "He who scattered Israel will gather him and keep him as a shepherd keeps his flock."
Ezekiel 34: “I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries and bring them to their own land; and I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the streams, and in all the inhabited places of the land. I will feed them in a good pasture, and their grazing ground will be on the mountain heights of Israel. There they will lie down on good grazing ground and feed in rich pasture on the mountains of Israel.”

10. PROPHECY # BC – 1948, 1967……
Israel’s armies would be disproportionately powerful
Leviticus 26:3, 7-8 If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments so as to carry them out… 'But you will chase your enemies and they will fall before you by the sword; five of you will chase a hundred, and a hundred of you will chase ten thousand, and your enemies will fall before you by the sword.
1948 outnumbered 20-1, Israel won
1967 in six days, Israel took Jerusalem
1973 Israel pushed back attackers and occupied additional land

11. PROPHECY #10 1400 BC -- Ongoing
Israel will be restored
Joel 3:1-2 “For behold, in those days and at that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem, I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the valley of Jehoshaphat Then I will enter into judgment with them there on behalf of My people and My inheritance, Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations; and they have divided up My land.”
