What does Volunteer Ireland do?
Support body for all Volunteer Centres and Volunteering Information Services in Ireland Promote & celebrates volunteering in Ireland through campaigns and events Support volunteer involving organisations (VIO’s) in best volunteer management Provide various services to the Community and Voluntary & Corporate sectors

Some Volunteering Statistics
Total number of volunteer vacancies: 2,602 The estimated number of Volunteers in Ireland is over 1 million 57% of volunteers have not volunteered before So far in 2018, volunteers from 136 countries have registered to volunteer through I-VOL and local Volunteer Centres. So far in 2018, 61% are from Ireland 39% of volunteers registered from outside Ireland.
