TYPES OF NOUNS Proper~ a name used for an individual person, place, or organization. Common~ a noun denoting a class of objects or a concept as opposed to a particular individual. Examples

Adverb A word used to describe a verb, adjective, or another adverb.

Interjection Is an abrupt remark, made especially as an aside or interruption.

Preposition A word that links nouns, pronouns, and phrases to other words in a sentence. Examples: of, with, to, at, over, before, between, after.

Pronoun A word that may be substituted for a noun or a noun phrase.
