5 So what: If the best learning happens when teachers and trainers talk to each other… If evidence-based practice can produce the most meaningful results, trust and collaboration… If professional networks support deliberate practice and deep learning…

6 The future..? ‘what is needed is more space for teachers to interpret the evidence about their effect on each student…this may require some major rethinking about teachers’ work’ John Hattie 2012
