2. Who can be involved?
Current Waterloo United Players (U15’s – U18)
Young Leaders of Tomorrow
An interest in coaching and player development
The leadership Academy will be limited to 25 spaces

3. What is involved?
The leadership academy is a yearly program. This upcoming year will run from February to October 2018.
Young Leaders to attend an OPDL training session once a month.
Young Leaders to attend & co-deliver a training session U9-U12’s once a month.
Young Leaders to attend a roundtable coaching discussion

4. What are the benefits?
Young Leaders will be invited to all club run coach education.
Young leaders get the chance to coach, be mentored by the clubs technical staff and learn in a safe environment.
Young Leaders who develop through the program may have the opportunity to move into paid coaching roles.
Young leaders can put the hours gained coaching towards work experience for school.
Young Leader of the year will receive a free ticket to the Ontario Soccer Summit Coaching Conference.
