Rationale Investigate the limitations and constraints of working with large images and develop a web-based solution for it. Provide real time image interaction over the internet.

Future Work Combine our solution with various other techniques to improve image retrieval time. Integrate and port image database application to the new hardware. Utilize developed software as a component of an application with bigger scope.

Paper Accepted for Publication
The result is included in a paper entitled “Components for Building Desktop-Application-like Interface in Web Applications” Submitted to APWEB 05 Mar.29-Apr 1. Accepted as a one of the 72 regular/full papers out of 420 submissions (acceptance rate of 17%) for presentation at the conference and for inclusion in the proceedings.
