Where are we now? PS&E plans on June 2, 2017 Est. Const. Cost = $466,000 City’s Bidding Strategy Package with Annual Resurfacing contract Need MODOT approval for combined bid Bids due in July 2017 Construction completed by Fall 2017 Effective utility coordination is key to the success of any project. At GBA, we’ve developed a more thorough and in depth process starts before the surveyors are even in the field. We work with each utility individually, verifying existing locations, identifying potential conflicts, reviewing relocation plans. Make sure to look at traffic signal plans, retaining wall footings, sanitary sewer plans, tree removals, roadway subgrade depth, storm sewer, fencing, etc. We ask the utility owners about the condition of their lines or if they have plans for improvements in the near future. If requested, we can provide oversight for the relocations to make sure they’re installed per plan and document for future use.
