2 2. Bayou (n.) A body of water, such as a creek or small river, that is a tributary of a larger body of water. A sluggish stream that meanders through lowlands, marshes, or plantation grounds. There are a lot of bayous in southern U.S.

3 3. Indomitable (adj.) Unconquerable, unyielding, not easily overcome
Mythology is full of indomitable heroes.

4 4. Malleable (adj.) Capable of being shaped, bent or changed
a malleable student (=docile) Hot iron is malleable.

5 5. Melodramatic (adj.) Overly dramatic, emotional, sentimental
Romeo and Juliet is melodramatic.

6 6. Visage (n.) a face or facial expression;
appearance, countenance, physiognomy The bloody visage of her face made everyone upset.

7 Offensive, foul, abhorrent
odious (adj.) – hateful; disgusting; detestable Examples: Odious actions always gross me out. There was a particularly odious part of the horror movie involving torture. Synonyms: Offensive, foul, abhorrent
