1. Analogy (n.) similarity between 2 things
comparison, resemblance, similitude Can you see the analogy between the heart and a pump? Can you make an analogy between Romeo and Juliet and Twilight?

2. Bayou (n.) A body of water, such as a creek or small river, that is a tributary of a larger body of water. A sluggish stream that meanders through lowlands, marshes, or plantation grounds. There are a lot of bayous in southern U.S.

Mythology is full of indomitable heroes.

a malleable student (=docile) Hot iron is malleable.

Romeo and Juliet is melodramatic.

appearance, countenance, physiognomy The bloody visage of her face made everyone upset.

Offensive, foul, abhorrent
odious (adj.) – hateful; disgusting; detestable Examples: Odious actions always gross me out. There was a particularly odious part of the horror movie involving torture. Synonyms: Offensive, foul, abhorrent
