10 COMAR 13A.07.01: Each local system shall establish and maintain a comprehensive induction program for all new teachers. The following activities are required of each program: Orientation for all teachers prior to the beginning of school Ongoing support from a mentor, including regularly- scheduled meetings Opportunities for new teachers to observe or co-teach with skilled teachers Follow-up discussions of the observations and co-teaching experiences Ongoing professional development designed to address new teacher needs and concerns 2018 New Teacher Summer Academy

1:00 ALL Elementary teachers return to B138 for classroom management and first day of school activities. ALL Secondary teachers will return to B150 for classroom management activities. ALL SPED teachers move to B129 (computer lab) 3:15 Complete Day One evaluation. 2018 New Teacher Summer Academy
