Evaluate each expression if a = 11, b = -1, and c = -8
Bell Ringer * Bell Ringers will be review from here on out to help prepare you for the placement test and the ACT Aspire. I will not answer questions about the Bell Ringer. You may use notes to help you, but everything will be review so you should know it. Evaluate each expression if a = 11, b = -1, and c = -8 1. a – – c a – (-7) c - b

Section 11.1 Angle and Line Relationships
R drive > Key > March 9_13 > 11.1_Angle & Line Relationships File > Save As > P drive > Math > March 9_13 > 11. 1_Angle & Line Relationships *If you would like to, you may create a New Folder called 3rd 9 Weeks and move everything from Jan until now into that folder. *You may throw away anything EXCEPT STUDY GUIDES from 3rd 9 weeks from your binder. This must be done AT HOME, NOT HERE.

Introduction Pairs of angles can be classified by their relationship to each other. This is a very vocabulary heavy section. Expect vocabulary on EVERY test and quiz. Keep up with this vocabulary EVERY DAY!!! I want it somewhere easy for you to grab and use. Expect pop quizzes.
6
Vocabulary Vertical Angles – Two pairs of opposite angles formed by two intersecting lines. The angles formed are congruent.
7
Vocabulary Adjacent Angles – Two angles that are “side by side”, share a common ray, and do not overlap
8
These are examples of adjacent angles.
45º 80º 35º 55º 130º 50º 85º 20º
9
These angles are NOT adjacent.
100º 50º 35º 35º 55º 45º
10
Vocabulary Supplementary Angles – When the sum of two angles adds up to 180 ˚.
11
Vocabulary Complementary Angles- When the sum of 2 angles adds up to 90˚.
12
Practice Time!
