Physical Properties can be observed in a sample using our 5 senses and/or measurement tools

5. Special Physical Properties
Density = a relationship between mass and volume (D = M/V)
An object will sink if it is more dense than water
An object will float if it is less dense than water
Luster = whether a substance is shiny
Opacity = whether a substance is see-through (transparent) or not (opaque)
