Jesus believed and accepted them as real, actual people who lived in O.T. times. Jesus believed and accepted the entirety of the O.T. as inspired and canonical (AbelZechariah). Jesus believed there were truths to be proved by a study of O.T. characters. Jesus believed there were lessons to be learned and applied from the lives & decisions of these O.T. characters.
