AKORN is an educational provider which can do the liaison between the school and the science/engineering/other facilities. Each state has such providers. Usually they coordinate work experience for schools. The teachers remain in control of the curriculum structures and outcomes for the program of learning. The use of an educational provider can allow teacher to promote learning without doing the liaising with scientists.
