Dates to Remember:
August 11th – Fundraiser begins
August 21st – parents can begin eating in the café! (11:30 – 12:00).
August 24th – PTO 5:00. Family Math and Literacy night from 6:00 to 7:30.
September 4th – No school in honor of Labor day.
What we are working on…
Reading: We will be making text-to-self connections while reading and discussing “When I Was Little”. We will be practicing “turn to talk” to discuss our reading with a partner.
Math: We are building our number sense and using our number talks to discuss multiple strategies. We are exploring quantities of 20. We are also starting our Math stations this week!
