Highlights 4 UK Values Alliance quarterly meetings have been held this year with one meeting held at Surrey Square School 12 newsletters sharing values-based news, activities and events produced by Juliet Valdinger 4 Values Dialogue evening meetings with Jessica Ball 4 World Values Day zoom online calls with participants from around the world run by Charles Fowler 2 online meditation zoom calls with international representation for World Values Day, run by Liz Murphy and HeartMath and Lindsay West and FDCW London Annual Conference held on World Values Day run by Liz Murphy with Peakon and Crystal Interactive

Highlights cont. We held the third annual World Values Day: 18 Oct 2018 100 World Values Day supporter organisations Enhanced website 19 events around the world on website + many more 50+ tools and resources entries on the website Social media: trending at No 1 on twitter in UK with the highest ever engagement levels with content 14,000 uses of #worldvaluesday in 98 countries with potential reach on twitter alone of 41 million

Finances Summary – : 64% of income came from Membership Fees, totalling £1,917, similar to last year 36% of income came from donations, totalling £1,085 (57% for World Values Day), significantly up on last year 23% of UK Values Alliance expenditure was on website maintenance, less than half last year’s cost due to the move to WP Maintain 73% of UK Values Alliance expenditure was on admin support slightly up on last year, plus 3% cost of paypal fees, due to increase in online donations There was a surplus of £595 within the 12 month period although this amount is due to be paid our to the social media team, so a small deficit of £25 is the reality Organisational Membership fees have boosted income but members not paying renewal fees continues to cause reduced income throughout the year. Membership Total Membership of the UK Values Alliance at 31/10/18 is 58 We have gained 5 new Organisational Members in the year to 31/10/18 to bring the total to 12 We have gained 4 new Individual Members in the year to 31/10/18 and lost 2, to bring the total to 46 There are 20 individual members who have still not paid their renewal fees.

Minutes of the AGM Attendees: Chair: Lindsay West, Charles Fowler, Liz Murphy, Alan Williams, Philippa Dixon, Kashmira Deboo, Sue Bottomley, Roger Pitt and Jimi Slattery Meeting commenced at 12.50pm on 23/11/2018 Lindsay presented the highlights of 2018, including the success of the regular newsletter and the Values Dialogues, both new this year. Brief highlights were given of World Values Day, as this was being covered in more detail in the following meeting. The financial position of the UK Values Alliance was presented with a summary Income and Expenditure handed out. It was noted that this is the first year that the UK Values Alliance has covered its costs. Thanks were given for the donations made to both the UK Values Alliance and also World Values Day following Maureen’s appeal. It was noted that we now have 12 Organisational Members and this membership income have significantly contributed to income. The issue of members being slow to renew was highlighted again this year and the impact it has on cash flow. There is currently a problem with paypal, once resolved final reminders will be sent. RP suggested members pay direct to the bank account, to avoid paypal fees. No other businesss, the meeting closed at
