Extended Essay The Extended Essay is a requirement of the IB Diploma Program completed within TOK The Extended Essay is an independent, self directed 4,000 word research project Students select their topic from a list of approved IB subjects Students are supported throughout the process by a Supervisor

Group 4 (Science)Project
This year the theme is “Myth Busters”. Students create a Myth Buster inspired experiment and present their results on March 7th to a panel of IB science teachers. Students meet with their Mentor throughout the process. Student groups chosen by the teachers Interdisciplinary collaboration Development of team work – students come together to conduct experiment, gather data and create a presentation of their results Exchange or sharing of data collection and issues raised Approximately 10 hours of involvement

Writing Resource Center
Available during 3rd block on A-days Students can make an appointment through their English / TOK teacher Help with projects, written assignments, college essays, presentation skills, etc.

IB Diploma Testing Juniors mostly test at the SL level. Testing can apply toward Diploma or extra certificates.
