2. A Quick Summary of our Program so Far
In and around Sierra Leone we invite people who cannot afford healthcare from nearby provinces and cities.
Anyone who does attend are seen by Doctors volunteering, as well as Nurses and other health professionals.
Healthcare should be given to all, and those less fortunate deserve proper healthcare no matter the cost.

3. Our Doctors and Nurses so Far
We acquire qualified volunteers from the nearby hospital as well as others who sign up.
Some of the Doctors just recently achieved their MD’s, along with interns from the hospital with myself and Pastor Israel we try to provide the best healthcare we possibly can.
We not only have Doctors but volunteer Nurses as well that help with intake and processing.

4. What We Do In Detail
We check for many health factors, such as high blood pressure, diabetes, and many others.
Once tested and diagnosed we are able to give medications to patients who cannot afford it.
Not only chemical man made medications but some patients require a natural holistic approach with herbs. We are working with a herbalist who helps the ill in a more natural way.
We not only diagnose and treat illnesses but we teach as well. Especially those with high blood pressure or diabetes, the proper education about their disease can help prevent further complications and lead to a healthier lifestyle. Sometimes it’s not just physical factors that affect one’s health but psychological and emotional trauma as well.

5. What We Need and How You Can Help
We Need Volunteers!
We are looking for different skill sets to further our level of care to those who so desperately need it.
We need more volunteers, doctors, a dentist, an ophthalmologist (eye doctor), and even experienced physicians who are willing to mentor our young doctors here that are new to this field.
Any addition to add more helping hands, no matter how big or small, can impact so many lives that should be cared for but don’t have the resources.

6. What We Need and How You Can Help
Another huge factor is the equipment used to treat the patients!
We need more and better medical tools.
Equipment such as tools used to test cholesterol as well as hemoglobin A1C.
Patients with diabetes testing the blood sugar is important but checking the hemoglobin A1C is the true marker for diabetes.
Better equipment leads to more accurate diagnoses which helps treat the illness in a more efficient and qualified way.

7. In Summary
Anything that can be utilized to help the sick who cannot afford to help themselves is a step in the right direction. Whether it’s actual people using their knowledge and skills to aid the ill or the equipment itself the sick need to be cared for. It is up to the strong to protect the weak. That is where we come in, and you can too.
