CADET PROMOTION “C” Avg in all academic classes

PROMOTION Under no circumstances will a cadet be promoted simply because of length of service in JROTC. All promotions will be made on grade/ rank at a time!

PROMOTION In addition, selection for appointment of Cadet Officer and Non-Commissioned Officer rank will be based on the following: Leadership Military Proficiency Appearance and bearing Character and Disciplinary Record Extra-Curricular activities Attitude

PROMOTION Reductions will be made under the following conditions:
Persons of all ranks and grades will be reduced to the grade of Cadet Private if suspended or expelled from school for any reason and for other reasons deemed serious by the school or SAI. Persons of all ranks and grades who fail to maintain a passing grade in ROTC for any nine (9) weeks period will be reduced one grade. Upon the recommendation of the disciplinary board and approval of the Senior Army Instructor. Personnel violating the Cadet rules of Honor (i.e. Lies, Steals, Cheats) will be reduced one grade and/or eliminated from the program.

GRADUATION CREDITS Credit: Each cadet will receive one (1) unit of credit toward graduation for each successfully completed year of JROTC. Military Training Certificate (DA Form 226): Each cadet receives a Military Training Certificate indicating the number of years successfully completed. (Annex A to Section VI)

ENROLLMENT The following is the normal progression by LET (Leadership Development) level: 9th Grade (Freshmen) LET I 10th Grade (Sophomores) LET II 11th Grade (Juniors) LET III 12th Grade (Senior) LET IV A student may enroll in JROTC during any year As a prerequisite for enrollment in the LET II level and higher the cadet must have satisfactorily completed the proceeding courses.

GRADING Grading Methods: Cadets are graded in accordance with the Charles Henderson High School grading system: “A” 80-89 “B” 70-79 “C” 60-69 “D” 59 and below is failing/”F”

GRADING Grade averages will be computed based on the following criteria: Examinations/Cadet Knowledge- 40% Uniform and Appearance- 30% of the total grade Participation-30% of the total grade

UNIFORM WEEKLY INSPECTION- THURSDAY MANDATORY!!!! APPEARANCE/GROOMING
WEAR ALL DAY DRY CLEAN ONLY; YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CARE TRY IT ON, BRING IT IN FOR FITTING & ISSUE/RE-ISSUE: 15 AUGUST 2016 FIRST UNIFORM DAY: 25 AUGUST 2016
