7 Influences and Motivators
Other women – close family – lack of male presence Children were key motivation for doing things – intergenerational activities Body image and weight Family illness Keeping going

8 Attitudes and Perceptions
Leisure Centre – cliquey groups and indifferent staff, too far away and some of provision is good but too expensive Generally positive about green space – particularly Brough Park and the addition of local play areas Would be keen to do more but……. Intergenerational activity is important Schools are good but don’t offer much outside of the curriculum Don’t make frequent journeys outside the estate Community safety not mentioned Family swimming most frequently mentioned/used but pool too cold now particularly for children Mental Health a concern Sustainability of activity perceived as a problem
