Unified communications (UC) platform Integrates common channels of business communication and online meetings instant messaging (IM), presence, voice over IP (VoIP), voic , file transfers, video conferencing, web conferencing and  . What is it?

Log on to office365 Settings (office 365) Software Skype for business Getting skype for business

5 Add contact holmesba@udmercy.edu
Go to the home profile page and hit the + button (shown in the picture below) Hit add a contact not in my organization Type in an address you would like to add Add contact

6 Starting a call Click on contact – then click the phone button
Right click on the name and click call, send IM, or start a video call (Picture on the right). Starting a call

7 Answering a call An alert will pop up
Click any part of the photo to answer Click ignore to deny a call Wanting to instant message (IM)? Click options when someone is calling – click Reply by IM Options also includes a do not disturb button Answering a call

8 In the meeting pane, click the + button or, in the participants pane, click invite more people
Select a name from your contacts or type in a name/phone number in the search box Inviting others

9 Audio call controls To put a call on hold, click the hold button
To mute your audio, click the Mic button in the conversation window To end the call, click the red phone button in the conversation window Audio call controls

11 In the meeting window click the present button (Right Picture)
Click present desktop or present program A now presenting tab will appear on the screen To stop sharing, click stop presenting on the bar at the top of the screen or at the top of the conversation window Sharing your desktop

12 Share a PowerPoint presentation
In the meeting window, click the present button Click present PowerPoint files Find the file, double click or press ok Share a PowerPoint presentation

13 In the meeting window, click the present button
Click Add attachment Find the file and double click or press ok Share a file or picture

14 Share a whiteboard, poll, Q&A
In the conversation window, click the present button Then click more Then click whiteboard or poll or Q&A Share a whiteboard, poll, Q&A
