2 2016 Gallery closed - outreach
Local nursery school and Foundation Unit in a local school (both North Hull) Approached artist Andi Dakin and enabler Dom Heffer Spent time in school with staff and pupils prior to session 1 setting the scene/story session and 1 assemblage session for each group Discovering art all around, making and creating, experiencing artists work & sharing Observations throughout Created workbook which went to teachers and home for comment

Some people do it as families, some as each individual child Unexpected results and conversations Works best when it is completed in 1 session alongside an activity Prizes and certificates are very popular Handed out sheets during session – volunteer help Increase 16% (vs. 0% in 2017) from hard to reach postcodes
