Informants not always reliable In an increasingly interconnected world, informants aren’t always aware of all the factors that affect their lives.

Sometimes involves direct measurement Rainfall Temperature Fields Yields Dietary quantity Time allocations They collect factors such as Population density Environmental quality Climate Physical geography Diet Land use Usually collected in field or in Government Archives
