2 Vocabulary: Rock Cycle – processes that change one type of rock into another type of rock. Example: Igneous to Sedimentary Rock – a natural, solid mixture of minerals or grains. Grains – Fragments that make up a rock. Texture – the grain size and the way grains fit together. Sediment – is rock material that forms where rocks are broken down into smaller pieces, or dissolved in water. Extrusive rocks – when volcanic material erupts and cools above ground. Intrusive rocks - Igneous rocks that form as magma cools underground.

3 Rock Cycle: Constant Change over time.
