Don’t discuss the interpretation, validity, or essentiality of patents/patent claims. Don’t discuss specific license rates, terms, or conditions. Relative costs, including licensing costs of essential patent claims, of different technical approaches may be discussed in standards development meetings. Technical considerations remain primary focus Don’t discuss or engage in the fixing of product prices, allocation of customers, or division of sales markets. Don’t discuss the status or substance of ongoing or threatened litigation. Don’t be silent if inappropriate topics are discussed … do formally object. November 2008 TGn Minutes of September ’ r1 Executive Summary (also see Chairs’ meeting document r7): Draft 6.0 passed recirculation ballot LB134 with 266 approve, 27 not approve, 21 abstain. All of the 195 comments from LB134 were resolved or withdrawn. The task group requested that the working group issue a 15 day recirculation ballot on D7.0 based on the approved resolutions. The timeline was not modified from the July 2008 revision. The current timeline anticipates publication in November 2009. The task group authorized the extension of teleconference calls to four hours each and may have an ad hoc meeting on November 7-8 to resolve comments from the recirculation ballot on D7.0.
