3 Meditation Hebrews 4:12 – 13 God’s word is living, active and sharper than any two-edged sword. It penetrates to the point that it separates the soul from the spirit and the joints from the marrow. It’s able to judge the heart’s thoughts and intentions. No creature is hidden from it, but rather everything is naked and exposed to the eyes of the one to whom we have to give an answer.

4 Musical Prelude Bringing in the Light of Christ

5 Choral Introit Time to Gather (TFWS 2265)

6 One: My God, you are the holy one,
Call to Worship based upon Psalm 22 One: My God, you are the holy one, enthroned! Many: You are the holy one, One: Commit yourself to the LORD. Many: God rescues. God delivers. Praise God!

7 Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing
Opening Hymn Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing Hymnal # 400 Used By Permission. CCLI License #

8 Come, thou Fount of every blessing, tune my heart to sing thy grace; streams of mercy, never ceasing, call for songs of loudest praise. Teach me some melodious sonnet, sung by flaming tongues above. Praise the mount! I'm fixed upon it, mount of thy redeeming love.

9 Here I raise mine Ebenezer; hither by thy help I'm come; and I hope, by thy good pleasure, safely to arrive at home. Jesus sought me when a stranger, wandering from the fold of God; he, to rescue me from danger, interposed his precious blood.

10 O to grace how great a debtor daily I'm constrained to be
O to grace how great a debtor daily I'm constrained to be! Let thy goodness, like a fetter, bind my wandering heart to thee. Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it, prone to leave the God I love; here's my heart, O take and seal it, seal it for thy courts above.

11 Opening Prayer Hymnal # 6 Almighty God, to you all hearts are open, all desires known, and from you no secrets are hidden. Cleanse the thoughts of our hearts by the inspiration of your Holy Spirit, that we may perfectly love you, and worthily magnify your holy name, through Christ our Lord. Amen.

12 Children’s Time

14 Offering Scriptures Deut. 12:5-7
You shall seek the place that the Lord your God will choose …. There you shall go, and there you shall bring your burnt offerings and your sacrifices, your tithes and the contribution that you present, your vow offerings, your freewill offerings, and the firstborn of your herd and of your flock. 7 And there you shall eat before the Lord your God, and you shall rejoice, you and your households, in all that you undertake, in which the Lord your God has blessed you.

20 to serve Thee to the end; Be Thou forever near me,
O Jesus, I have promised to serve Thee to the end; Be Thou forever near me, my Master and my Friend; I shall not fear the battle if Thou art by my side, Nor wander from the pathway if Thou wilt be my Guide.

21 Oh, let me hear Thee speaking
in accents clear and still, I dare not trust my judgment: Thy way shall be my will; Oh, speak to reassure me, to hasten or control; Oh, speak, and help me listen, Thou Guardian of my soul.

22 to all who follow Thee That where Thou art in glory
O Jesus, Thou hast promised to all who follow Thee That where Thou art in glory there shall Thy servant be; And Jesus, I have promised to serve Thee to the end— Oh, give me grace to follow, my Master and my Friend.

23 Oh, let me see Thy footprints,
and in them plant mine own; My hope to follow duly is in Thy strength alone; Oh, guide me, call me, draw me, uphold me to the end; And then in Heav’n receive me, my Savior and my Friend.

Hymnal # 399 Used By Permission. CCLI License #

35 Take my life, and let it be consecrated, Lord, to thee
Take my life, and let it be consecrated, Lord, to thee. Take my moments and my days; let them flow in ceaseless praise. Take my hands, and let them move at the impulse of thy love. Take my feet, and let them be swift and beautiful for thee Take my voice, and let me sing always, only, for my King. Take my lips, and let them be filled with messages from thee. Take my silver and my gold; not a mite would I withhold. Take my intellect, and use every power as thou shalt choose Take my will, and make it thine; it shall be no longer mine. Take my heart, it is thine own; it shall be thy royal throne. Take my love, my Lord, I pour at thy feet its treasure-store. Take myself, and I will be ever, only, all for thee.

36 Take my voice, and let me sing always, only, for my King
