What should we name ours? A) Snowfall per Year in Anchorage, Alaska B) Shirt Color of Students at Beverly Hills Middle School C) Warming and Cooling Rates of Soil and Water D) Yearly Free Throw Percentage of LeBron James Where should we put our title?

3 Labeling Our Axises Which is the X-axis? Which is the Y- axis?
Controlled variable is always on the X- axis. For us, that’s time. The variable being tested is always on the Y-axis. For us, that’s the temperature of the soil/water.

4 Don’t Forget the Unit! All data needs a unit!
What should our X-axis unit be? A) Minutes B) Inches C) Seconds What should our Y-axis unit be? A) Fahrenheit (F) B) Celsius (C) C) Minutes

5 How Should We Space Our Axis?
What should the first number on our X-axis be? What about our Y-axis?
