CHOOSE FROM: ENGLISH TRADITIONAL CHINESE SIMPLIFIED CHINESE BAHASA MALAYSIAN Single course with content language chosen by student

4 First make sure the language menu is turned on

5

6 Just installing these packs mean that the navigation and most plug ins have their labelling switched. Of course this does not apply to any content you have added. It stays in the language you added.

7

8 What we need is our uploaded content to switch

9 Filters operate on all the text content in Moodle (such as resources, forum posts, user profiles, glossary entries and so on).  They can process the text to change formatting, change words, add links, embed media and so on.

10

11 {mlang en} Shows English {mlang}
e.g. Section headers and descriptions, labels, lessons, quiz text, etc Tag your language texts {mlang en} Shows English {mlang}  {mlang zh_tw} Shows Traditional Chinese {mlang}

12 You can type the tag pairs manually OR There’s an ATTO plug in to simplify the inserting of tag pairs. The plugin allows for CSS highlighting of the tags. I prefer to leave this off

14 Change language and the text changes accordingly
Label text one two Three 標籤文字 Change language and the text changes accordingly

15 Whatch out you don’t get any extra spaces, carriage returns of code between the end of one pair and start of the next. Code in between ALWAYS shows no matter what language is chosen. It leads to extra spacing in text
