To find the cost of fencing, we need to determine the perimeter of a rectangle.
Perimeter of a rectangle = 2 x (length + breadth)
= 2 x ( )
= 2 x 44 = 88 cm
Cost of fencing 1 cm = Rs 6
Cost of fencing 88 cm = 88 x 6
=Rs 528

Example 2:Find the cost of levelling a square flower garden of side 25 m

To find the cost of levelling, we need to determine the area of square.

Cost of levelling 1024 m2 = 625 x 10
=Rs 6250

= 5 x 20 = 100 m2
Cost of cementing 1 m2 = Rs5
Cost of cementing 100 m2 = 100 x 5
