To become a pastry chef you need to take a culinary course. You also need to have your high school diploma at minimum. Being a pastry chef can be a tough job because it is so demanding.

There are many schools that offer amazing culinary courses but the following are some of the best: The Culinary Institute of America in Dutchess County, New York The Institute of Culinary Education in New York, New York Kendall College in Chicago, Illinois

Salary range for a pastry chef
The normal salary range for a pastry chef is, $33,000-$49,000 a year.

Duff Goldman Duff Goldman was born in Detroit, Michigan. He went to Sandwich High School. In 2002, he quit his job and opened Charm City Cakes. He is famous on the Food Network TV channel. He says, “ I am up for anything involving food.”

My reaction My reaction to becoming a pastry chef is different than I thought it would be. I did not think that it was going to as demanding as it actually is. That surprised me because I watch a lot of cooking and baking shows.
