1 (A) Kaplan-Meier renal survival estimates of patients with diabetic nephropathy (DN), non-diabetic renal disease (NDRD) and mixed groups, adjusting for age, ethnicity, BMI, gender, proteinuria and eGFR at the time of biopsy. (A) Kaplan-Meier renal survival estimates of patients with diabetic nephropathy (DN), non-diabetic renal disease (NDRD) and mixed groups, adjusting for age, ethnicity, BMI, gender, proteinuria and eGFR at the time of biopsy. Patients with NDRD had significantly better renal prognosis (Log-rank, p<0.001). (B) Kaplan-Meier renal survival estimates of patients with DN, all types of NDRD and mixed renal pathologies (Mixed) presenting acutely (solid circles) and non-acutely (hollow circles), adjusted for age, ethnicity, BMI, gender, proteinuria and eGFR at the time of biopsy. Patients with DN presenting acutely had the poorest renal prognosis (p<0.001). BMI, body mass index; eGFR, estimated glomerular filtration rate. Jasmine Tan et al.
