4 Staying safe online Kings monitors networks and devices. If you see anything unpleasant or inappropriate online, tell us. If you receive an unpleasant or inappropriate message, tell us.

Do not use Kings’ systems or devices for online gaming Is gaming bad? Does it make you angry and stressed? Do you know who you’re playing with? Are you addicted? (Do you play for several hours every day? Can you stop?)

 Do not install programmes on a school device  Do not alter settings on a school device  Do not use social media during lessons (without permission) Please report any problems with equipment or websites.

9 Please respect others Don’t copy, delete or change others’ work. Always be polite and respectful when communicating with others. Do not use technology to be unkind to others. Ask permission before taking photos of anyone, or posting them online.

10 Please respect others If you feel worried by something you see online, or someone is bullying you online, please tell us.

13 Personal devices You must follow the ICT rules when you are using school computers and when you are using your own devices Ask permission to use your phone in class Keep your devices safe Do not use someone else’s device without permission

14 E-Safety We want all our students to be happy and safe online. If you do not follow the rules, you may be given a warning. This includes inappropriate online behaviour outside school. Serious cases may be reported to the local authorities or the police.
