One of the possible designs is closed divertor of pool-type;
Transport of the metal evaporated from the pool must be evaluated, including:
Condensation on the walls;
Leakage towards the main plasma chamber.
2D DSMC model is proposed and applied to a reference DTT scenario;
Model is suitable for supporting the pre-conceptual design.
Actual shape and temperatures of the walls considered;
Vapor expansion is described, including shocks;
Larger density in OEC than in ODC (effective differential pumping).
