Welcome Back! I hope you had a restful week with your children. We are geared up and ready to begin a new week full of fun! Conferences are coming up soon! Keep an eye out for more information on the day and how to sign up for your time. We can’t wait to share the amazing progress your child has made in the first two months of kindergarten.

Homework
Don’t forget to complete 3 tasks a week in your child’s homework notebook. When a task is completed, color in that box. Remember you can complete more than one task on a page. Just draw a line and make it clear which task you are completing (use the back of the page too!). We want to use these books for as long as possible this year.  Also, continue studying sight words and reading nightly. Thank you!
Apple Week
This week, we are learning all about apples! On Friday, we will have an apple investigation where we explore the properties of an apple, taste different types of apples, and do some graphing activities. Please, send in an apple of your choice for your child to use for these activities. I look forward to sharing all our apple fun this week!
