What Treasure Are You Leaving Your Children?
2
Leaving An Inheritance
We all leave behind something when we die; usually our children (1 Tim. 6:6-7). What will we leave our children (Lk. 15:11ff)? A physical inheritance is good House and wealth are an inheritance from fathers, But a prudent wife is from the LORD. (Prov. 19:14) A spiritual inheritance is even better Here for this third time I am ready to come to you, and I will not be a burden to you; for I do not seek what is yours, but you; for children are not responsible to save up for their parents, but parents for their children. (2 Cor. 12:14)

Parents Are Teachers Parents are to teach their children about God and his word (Deut. 6:6-9; Eph. 6:1-4) Parents point their children in one direction or another – like an arrow. Psa. 127:4 - Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one's youth.
